Trees for Canada - April 2003
This year the 66th Beavers, Cubs and Scouts planted 100 trees near the forks of the Thames on a beautiful morning in April. Here some of the Beavers are busy digging holes.
A good supply of water was handy for those who remembered to wear rubber boots. Max and Elie get ready to plant one of their trees. Paul and Mom watching Lucas dig the hole. Now there's a good Scout - getting a Cub to do all the hard work!!
Cub Master Karl even planted a tree or two!! Looks like this Beaver was more interested in the playground equipment next to the planting area . . . . . . . . . but the tree got planted in the end!! This picture looks to the west and the Wharncliffe Road bridge in the background.
