For the Friday night Crackerbarrel we were treated to no less than 3 different kinds of chicken wings! Notice Scouter Kevin trying to pretend he is one of the youth to get ahead in the line! |

A view of our campsite with the tents all nicely arranged in rows. |

Opening ceremonies on Saturday morning. |

Our American host's created an absolutely awesome gateway. This is the front view looking into one of the dining tents. |
Once inside the gateway, on the right side were the signs for our hosts - Troop 45 Milesburg; Troop 381 Spring Mills and Troop 66 from Pleasant Gap. |
On the opposite side were signs for the visiting Troops - 66th London; 31st B London and 70th London. These signs were presented to the respective Troops as mementos of our trip. |
One of the highlights of Saturday afternoon was the wartime P.O.W. experiences of 2nd Lt. Earl Kesler. Lt. Kesler was the navigator in a B-24 Liberator that was shot down over Budepest Hungary on 2 July 1944. Scouter Bill poses with Mr. and Mrs. Kesler during their tour of our campsite. |
One of the events our Scouts enjoyed most was Archery. |
Another popular event was the Rifle Range. Why does this not surprise me?! |
This event was called Artesian Beams and consisted of five 4x4 beams of varying lengths that had to placed into specific locations. Participants were not allowed to touch the ground after starting. Beams had to be carried to the end and placed into posdition. |

This cave crawl was adjustable in 1/4 inch increments and was a challenging event! Here Trevor tries his luck at 10 inches. Lots of room!! |
