London Food Bank - October 2001

On October 11 2001, the Troop visited the London Food Bank. We worked our way through the 3 main areas as part of the tour.
Here we are emptying one of the 2 vans full of donated food collected at local Fire Halls earlier in the day.

The food was placed into 3 large boxes on skids.

Scouter Steve has his hands full watching Josh.

The pallet full of food then is moved to the sorting area. Here the food is sorted into shopping carts full of similar items. The carts are then emptied into boxes and stored on pallets around the warehouse.

Scouter Will and Cody are busy making food hampers for distribution to needy families.
