Sylvan Camporee - May 2000

At this years Camporee, the Scouts were able to get a real close-up look at some antique fire fighting equipment. Here we have the boys posing with a selection of old fire helmets.

The leaders from the 66th were responsible for setting up and running the Log Sawing event. During the afternoon, Scouters Will and Steve set out to see how well they could do. They succeded in setting a record of 23 seconds in the adult pairs division.

During some "free time" Chris and Chris have a game of cards with Will and Steve.

And here we are, the trailer is packed up and we're ready to leave. As usual the scouts will hike out with their backpacks and be picked up at the main entrance.
It really wasn't very far!!
